Dean Christian

Camp Administrator

Dean comes to Camp Kanesatake from New Zealand where he grew up and attended summer camp as a boy.  One of his earliest memories of camp was travelling by boat to get there.  "Swimming, hiking, and fishing were just some of the things we did every day.”

As the Camp Administrator he is responsible for the day to day operations and planning.  One of his favorite camp activities is the flying squirrel.  He met his wife Sarah at Camp Kanesatake while they were both serving as volunteer cabin counselors.  They were married in 2005 and have a son, Andrew, who was born in October 2008.  Dean’s interests include travel, photography, and most anything electronic.  He also loves road trips with his family.
