Jason LaFlamme was born and raised in the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in the small harbor town of Munising. He has been blessed with the unique privilege and opportunity to shepherd his home church since January of 2004. Before becoming the lead pastor, he was the Assistant Pastor of Youth Ministries at Munising Baptist Church from 1996-2004.

Hunting, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling are huge attractions for tourists, but are also things Jason is passionate about. He loves to use these passions as bridges to reach others who also love the outdoors with the gospel of Christ. Jason’s love for teen ministry has been fostered and grown as the Lord has allowed him to speak at camps, conferences, and game dinners in both the USA and Canada.

After graduating from Munising High School, Jason went on to earn a BA in Youth Ministries, and later a Master of Ministry, both from Northland International University.

Jason has been married to Julie for over twenty-seven years, and they have three adult children.
