Seth Hoffman has been the Director at Camp Kanesatake since January 2011. He grew up in Mount Pleasant Mills, PA in a farming and logging family. He graduated from Northland International University in Dunbar, WI with a degree in Biblical Studies. He and his brothers were campers at Camp K in their childhood and have been speakers during different weeks of Camp K summer camp since 2010. He married Shannon in September 2013. Seth travels and preaches at local churches on many Sundays and Wednesdays as well as speaking at many Christian high school and elementary school chapels. Seth has been the Director since 2011.
Shannon grew up in Utah and attended and worked at a small, Christian camp there all growing up and through college. She attended Northland International University in Dunbar, WI and graduated with a degree in Cross-Cultural Education. She taught high school English at Mifflin County Christian School for a year before marrying Seth. She has worked every position at camp: counselor, kitchen, program, and office. She has been the office manager at Camp K since 2013.
Maritza Van Allen
Maritza is with our administration office, her responsibilities include Registrar, Retreat Coordinator, and Receptionist. For the past 10 years she has been the afternoon radio host on Way Truth Life Radio, prior to radio, she was Camp K's registrar for 3 summers. Growing up in Central Florida she was able to work for 20+ years for Mickey Mouse. Leaving corporate endeavors and seeking God's adventures, God opened the door to missions and a heart for the unreached. In 2015 she married Howard Holland and as God would have it, He has brought her back to Camp K, where she can do what she loves, sharing about Jesus with others.
Summer Program Director
Connor Hunter grew up in Bellwood, PA. He graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio in 2015 with a degree in Mathematics Education. He has been teaching math education for the past five years at Montgomery Jr./Sr. High, Glendale Jr./Sr. High, and currently Hollidaysburg Jr. High School. He spent two summers in college working at a camp in Indiana, and began working at Camp K in 2016. He acted in the role of a counselor up until the summer of 2019, when he transition to the role of Program Director.
