Looking for a life-changing summer ministry?
We hire around 40 college-aged young adults, as well as junior and senior high school students, to fully staff our 9-week summer ministry for junior campers (grades 3-6) and teen campers (grades 7-12). Half of these summer positions are for counselors, while the other half are for operational staff.

Summer staff will undergo one week of intensive training followed by eight weeks of hands-on practical experience. Join us at Camp K for a transformative summer!
How to Join Our Summer Team
1. Apply
Our application is a simple, online process. To be considered for a position, applicants must meet at least one criterion.

Cabin Counselor - completed a year of college, worked a year after high school or completed our CIT (Camper-In-Training) Leadership Program

Kitchen, Retail or Maintenance - completed junior or senior year in high school

Program - Second year staff or professional experience
2. Prepare
Summer staff receive assignments before arriving to prepare their hearts and equip them to counsel campers with God’s Word. These assignments include reading materials, training videos, and completing background checks.
3. Train
Before camp starts, we dive headfirst into a week of intensive staff training that covers all aspects of camp ministry, including operations, programming, and counseling.
4. Serve
Equipped and prayerful, we launch into eight dynamic weeks of summer camp! The summer presents us with the opportunity to have fun, build friendships, and create lasting memories. Counselor
Counselors oversee a cabin of eight kids for a fun and engaging week. They spend intentional time building relationships, creating lasting memories, and faithfully sharing the gospel, all with the goal of helping campers take their next important spiritual step.
Kitchen
Kitchen staff prepare and serve three meals each day for about 200 campers, sponsors, and staff. As a close-knit team, they not only provide nourishment but also create a warm, welcoming dining hall while engaging in intentional discipleship under kitchen leadership.
Maintenance
The maintenance crew works hard to keep Camp K’s grounds beautiful and safe. They follow a regular upkeep schedule, handle daily operations with care, and gladly assist other departments whenever needed, ensuring camp runs smoothly for everyone who attends.
Program
Program staff work in various roles, including organizing games and activities, assisting in the office, lifeguarding, helping with photography, and managing technology. By bringing their enthusiasm and a servant's heart, they strive to create an enjoyable experience for the campers!
Retail
Retail staff work diligently to enhance the camp experience by operating the coffee shop, ice cream shop, and camp store. With energy and friendliness, they strive to provide excellent service and create a fun, enjoyable atmosphere that campers truly appreciate.
