Thank you so much for helping make 2021 a great year here at camp! Listen to what God has done over the past few months.
God at Work this Summer
We experienced a full and overflowing summer of God at work in the hearts and lives of all the campers and staff.
“Serving at Camp K meant preaching the gospel every single day through everything I did. Being a counselor meant loving unconditionally, through the highs and the lows, and consistently loving each group of campers as they rolled in on Sunday and left on Friday.” Jessie, camp counselor
We had 777 campers come to our 5 weeks of camp and just over 1,200 campers came to camp over the entire summer.
558 campers received help through our scholarship fund because of you.
77 kids and teens repented of their sin and believed in Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
172 kids and teens made decisions to turn from their sin.
It is amazing how the Gospel motivates and empowers us to do right! God did incredible things through the teaching of his Word in the hearts of these campers.
God at Work this Fall
Camp K has been privileged to host a number of churches and school groups for fall teen retreats, men’s retreats, school kickoffs, field days, and revival retreats. We have seen many seeds planted in people’s hearts as they heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We held our annual Sportsmen’s Retreat in September which offered great shooting competitions out in the back fields. The men and women were challenged throughout the sessions to get honest with God about the sin in their lives and then choose to lead their families according to God’s Word.
God at Work through You
Due to Covid concerns and illness, half of the retreats this fall were cancelled. Three friends of the ministry approached us and combined their resources as a matching gift to help Camp K offset the loss of income this fall and to assist us in moving forward in growing our program at camp. The matching gift is $20,000 dollars. Right now any gift you give will be doubled. Your gift will be used specifically for upcoming improvements but not limited to...
Increasing our laser tag activity from 20 to 50 players
Improving our recruiting and promotional equipment
Updating the furnishings in our winterized cabins and lodge to maximize capacity
We need you to help us reach the goal of matching this gift. If you continue to believe in Camp K and see that there is still so much more work to be done, would you give as we will continue to help kids, teens, and families with hope for eternity in Jesus Christ? Thank you for serving God by serving others!
